Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Diana Hope. I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas with 20 years of experience working alongside people from the ages of toddlers, children, teens, and adults including senior citizens. In addition, I have worked with a great many clients in their 20s and 30s, from Black American, Hispanic, Asian, White American, African, European, and South Pacific backgrounds. Together, we’ve talked openly and implemented plans to relieve life’s pressures and progress towards important goals. I have known people of diverse Faiths. I also have considerable experience with military service clients.
When we begin I am most interested in your reasons for seeking support and the things you see as standing in your way. Especially at the beginning and as we move along, I will check with you about my understanding of your concerns and I will ask you to clarify and correct wherever needed. We’ll talk about possible ways things could get better for you. I am a warm and compassionate person. I want you to feel comfortable and safe in therapy. I seek to be respectful, kind, and honest. As we become better acquainted, I hope we’ll share humor from time to time since laughter is wonderful medicine! I will meet you where you are at. And I encourage you to tell me what pace is comfortable for you. My focus is: on you as a unique individual, sharing with you methods that are evidence based and known to work, while also supporting your growth and feelings of well-being. For you to seek out support is Brave and Forward-thinking! I’m here for you.

Diana Hope is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker practicing in Kansas with 22 years of clinical experience. She has worked with clients across the lifespan – from toddlers and children to teens, adults, and senior citizens – and has supported many people in their 20s and 30s as they navigate life’s challenges.
Her practice has included clients from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, including Black American, Hispanic, Asian, White American, African, European, and South Pacific communities. When therapy begins, Diana focuses first on understanding why someone is seeking support and what they perceive as barriers to change. She checks in regularly about her understanding of each person’s concerns and invites clarification so the direction of treatment matches the client’s experience. Together with clients she explores practical ways to reduce pressure and move toward meaningful goals.
Diana brings a warm, compassionate approach and aims to create a safe, comfortable environment in which clients can grow. She is respectful, honest, and open to using humor when appropriate. She meets clients where they are and encourages them to set a pace that feels manageable. Her work emphasizes evidence-based methods that are known to support progress and well-being, and she values the courage it takes to reach out for help.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, remote therapy provides an accessible and practical path to consistent support.
