Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My approach to therapy is goal-oriented and focuses on the entire individual and support system. I believe in a client-centered approach which considers each individuals’ personality and background. I also focus my treatment with a cognitive approach which examines undesirable and destructive thought patterns. I am also a Certified Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist and see clients who seek to make changes using hypnosis (such as weight loss and smoking cessation).
I began working to help others at a young age of 17. I spent 7 summers during my education working as a counselor for adolescents at a summer camp. I pursued my desire to help people by completing my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and my Masters Degree in Counseling. I believe everyone has difficulties and struggles in life and we can all benefit for taking the time to improve ourselves which in turn provides the opportunity for a positive, well-adjusted and happy life.
I have 25 years of counseling experience and am currently the Clinical Director of an outpatient mental health facility in Taylor, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit). I am licensed in the State of Michigan as a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am also a National Certified Counselor. I am a certified Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist. I also perform hypnosis stage shows all over the country as The Motor City Hypnotist.

Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can truly help. For common challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person treatment.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that best fits their needs and schedule, whether that’s a video appointment, a phone session, live chat, or messaging within an app. This adaptability makes it easier to maintain continuity of care without rearranging work or family commitments.
Licensed professionals provide online services, and if a particular therapist is not the right match, clients have the option to change providers. For many people, remote therapy offers a practical and effective way to address everyday mental health concerns while fitting treatment into a busy life.
