About

Welcome All! If there is one thing that I have learned from being in this field, it is that Therapy is life changing! I believe that seeking help for life’s struggles is the best thing one can do for themselves. I currently am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been in the field for close to ten years now. I’ve always been intrigued by people’s thought patterns and behaviors. That led me to obtain my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Saint Jospeh in West Hartford, Ct. After taking a much needed break from school, I had some time to really look around me and see all the things that were happening in the world, and that is when I realized that there is great need for caring for one’s Mental Health. I then enrolled in Brooklyn College at the City University of New York and obtained my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. It has been a great journey thus far. I have worked with a wide range of clients that have dealt with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, life stressors, and Addiction. I also have experience with counseling adults with developmental disabilities.

My Therapeutic approach is to make you feel the most comfortable and safe in your sessions. Although there is progress being made within the Mental Health field, there still lies some stigma attached to it. I want clients to feel and understand that there is no shame in getting the help that is needed. As your Therapist, I am here to guide you, provide insight, and useful tools that can be utilized in order for an optimal level of functioning to be reached. To help you get there, I utilize a wide variety of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. So if you are ready to take that next step into improving an area of your life or just need extra support, you have come to the right place. I look forward to working with you.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For a number of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.

One major advantage is flexibility. Clients can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their life best, choosing from video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to maintain consistency in care.

Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they are looking for a different fit. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, practical route to support and progress on personal goals.
