Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed School Social Worker (LSSW), and a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC) in the state of North Carolina. For the past 25 years, I have been providing supportive social work services for youth and families in a public school setting. Additionally, I have been offering part-time substance abuse services for 22 years and mental health clinical services for 7 years. My main goal is to assist individuals in overcoming obstacles and reaching their full potential.
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse age groups and special populations, gaining valuable experience in addressing various mental health conditions such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, addiction, anger management issues, grief/loss, trauma, and relationship conflicts, among others. In my therapeutic approach, I adopt a Person-Centered perspective. I firmly believe in focusing on an individual’s abilities, rather than their condition, disability, or limitations. By tailoring treatment to their specific needs and circumstances, I aim to help them achieve their personal aspirations. However, depending on the individual’s requirements, treatment goals, and desired outcomes, I may employ different therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Many people want to know whether remote therapy can truly help. For common issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been found to be similarly effective to traditional in-person care for many individuals.
One major benefit is flexibility – people can choose the mode of connection that works best for them, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to engage in the way that feels most comfortable.
Licensed professionals provide online services, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For those seeking help with everyday mental health concerns, online therapy can be a practical, accessible way to begin working toward personal goals.
