I am a mental health therapist licensed in North Carolina with 20 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and bulimia/binge eating. I work with individuals from all walks of life including LGBTQ .
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My work integrates a variety of theoretical and practical perspectives. Therapy is geared more toward personal growth than simply toward behavior change or symptom relief. I see the exploration, discovery, and reconnection to one’s true Self as the key to this growth. I view the individual as coping with life in the best way he or she knows how, and view the individual”s difficulties as understandable responses to life situations. Therapy style is geared to the unique needs of the client. Although I find an individual’s history important in understanding one’s difficulties, I encourage the individual to work on issues as they present themselves in the present.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable to traditional in-person sessions for many individuals.
A major benefit of remote counseling is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to include therapy in a busy life.
These services are provided by licensed professionals, and clients are free to change therapists if they need a different fit. Online therapy offers an accessible option for addressing everyday mental health concerns while fitting care into each person’s schedule.
