Hello and welcome!! Making the first step to ask for help is the hardest step. You have made it and I’m so glad you’re here. I have been working in mental health for over 9 years, and have been working with individuals, couples, children, and families. For the past 9 years I have been working in a clinical outpatient setting. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) . I believe the foundation of change start with a relationship between you and your therapist that includes trust, respect, and compassion. I have a Masters degree in Counseling from William Carey University.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mississippi, I have been serving individuals and families with a wide variety of issues. I have done a lot of work with trauma. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, self worth and self esteem, life transitions, grief and loss, attention issues, and anger management. My approach is very supportive and validating, while challenging you to confront barriers that prohibit you from feeling happy and fulfilled. I use a combination of supportive, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths based approaches and will tailor my approach based on your needs. I believe that counseling is a collaborative experience and I will work with you to help you identify your personal and mental health goals, while helping you utilize your strengths to live to your full potential.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and life changes, remote therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.

A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their life and comfort level. Options typically include video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, making it easier to schedule and maintain consistent care.

Therapists who provide online services are licensed professionals, and individuals have the option to switch providers if they need a different fit. For many people, remote therapy is a practical and effective way to get support for everyday mental health challenges.
