Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Life can feel incredibly difficult when our relationships, with a partner or with ourselves , aren’t where we want them to be.
I specialise in counselling for both individuals and couples who are experiencing relationship challenges, and also support people who are single and wanting a relationship but it doesn’t seem to be working for you and you want to explore why this might be happening.
You may be struggling with communication, connection or intimacy, finding it hard to feel emotionally close, or noticing that past experiences are affecting your current relationships.
My work is grounded in an attachment-focused approach, helping you understand the patterns and emotional responses that sit underneath the surface. Together, we explore how your past experiences may be shaping the way you relate to yourself and others today, and gently work towards creating new, healthier ways of connecting.
Many of the people I work with also experience anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, especially when these feelings are linked to relationships. I offer a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, gain clarity, and begin to build more secure and fulfilling relationships.
Please feel free to reach out if you feel I can be of support.

Colette Mattos recognises how overwhelming life can feel when relationships – with a partner or with oneself – are not where someone hopes they would be. She works with both individuals and couples who are facing relationship difficulties, and also supports people who are single and want a relationship but are unsure why their attempts are not working.
She often helps when communication, connection or intimacy feel strained, when emotional closeness is hard to achieve, or when past experiences are influencing current relationships. Her practice is rooted in an attachment-focused approach that aims to uncover the patterns and emotional responses operating beneath the surface.
Using that framework, Colette helps people explore how earlier experiences may shape the ways they relate to themselves and others today, and she works gently toward developing new, healthier ways of connecting. Many of the people she sees also experience anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, particularly when these feelings are connected to relationship issues.
Colette offers a warm, collaborative and non-judgmental space where people can speak openly, gain clarity and begin to build more secure and fulfilling relationships. She welcomes contact from anyone who feels she may be able to help.
Many people ask whether online therapy can make a real difference. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility: people can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether that is through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapy provided online is delivered by licensed professionals, and if someone feels they would prefer a different fit they can switch therapists at any time. For many, online therapy offers a practical, effective route to getting support when it is needed.
