Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and I abide by their code of ethics and professional standards.
I came to counselling through my work as an Holistic Therapist of 20 years, I hold a degree in Health Science with Complementary Therapies in addition to qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reiki and Crystal Therapy and I like to be able to offer my clients an holistic approach, through mind, body and spirit, as each effects the other.
I have a private practice and have clients with eating disorders, relationship issues, bereavement among others but I specialise in counselling survivors of Domestic Abuse (physical, mental, emotional, sexual and historic).
Being with my clients, as they have journeyed through some difficult situations, showing them empathy and honesty, has supported them to break through some their obstacles to a happier more fulfilled life and future.

With seven years’ experience, Clare Pruen is a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and she follows the association’s code of ethics and professional standards.
She moved into counselling after a 20-year career as a Holistic Therapist, and brings that background into her practice. Clare holds a degree in Health Science with Complementary Therapies and also has qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reiki and Crystal Therapy, allowing her to offer an integrated, mind-body-spirit approach.
Clare works from a private practice and supports people with a range of concerns, including eating disorders, relationship difficulties and bereavement. She specialises in counselling survivors of domestic abuse – including physical, mental, emotional, sexual and historic abuse.
Alongside her therapeutic skills, Clare aims to sit with clients through difficult moments with empathy and honesty, and she has supported people to overcome obstacles and move toward a more fulfilled life.
Many people question whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or major life transitions, remote therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person counselling.
One of the key benefits is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of contact that best suits them, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it simpler to fit therapy into busy lives.
Another practical advantage is continuity of care. Clients work with licensed professionals and, if they feel they need a different fit, they can switch to another therapist at any time.
