Claire Nana is a licensed marriage and family therapist and life coach with 15 years of clinical experience working with individuals facing a range of concerns. She focuses on issues such as addictions, trauma and abuse, anger management, self-esteem, coping with life changes, stress and anxiety, relationship and family conflicts, grief, eating disorders, career difficulties, depression, coaching, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
She holds active therapeutic licenses in both Colorado and California - licensed as a marriage and family therapist in those states under CO LMFT 0000981 and CA LMFT 44211. Over her career she has worked with people recovering from large-scale traumas, including survivors of school shootings, and has contributed to the field by presenting at international conferences and writing continuing education courses for fellow psychotherapists.
Claire aims to improve psychotherapy practice by identifying practical changes and exploring innovative approaches clinicians can use to support clients. Her therapeutic stance emphasizes empowerment, respect for clients' choices, and the belief that the resources for better mental health and greater well-being are already present within each person.
Her work is informed by an existential orientation that helps clients clarify what matters most to them and take steps toward a more meaningful, rewarding life, regardless of past experiences. In her free time she enjoys ultrarunning, advancing her three rescue horses in dressage, and working on a long-anticipated manuscript. She looks forward to supporting clients in their goals for growth and recovery.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered remotely can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparably effective to traditional in-person care.
One of the greatest strengths of online therapy is convenience. Clients can choose the format that best fits their lives - video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging - making it simpler to attend appointments and maintain continuity of care.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change providers if they seek a different therapeutic fit. Online therapy can be a practical, flexible way to access professional support while navigating everyday demands.
