Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome!
A bit about me: I am a licensed mental health counselor with many years of experience in a hospital setting. Since 2019 I have worked in an outpatient behavioral health clinic where I have had the opportunity to provide telehealth counseling since March 2020. I do my best to meet people where they are and bring ideas for ways to improve their lives. My practice is individualized and draws primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor and mindfulness practice has been an important part of my personal growth. I am also an adjunct professor and love to teach.
I have had the honor of getting to know people when they are experiencing challenges in their lives. I appreciate the opportunity of working with individuals to bring about positive change in their lives. I appreciate the courage it takes to begin this work. I would be honored to have the opportunity to get to know you and walk along side you as you work with your current challenges.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their needs, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it simpler to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapy offered online is provided by licensed professionals and follows the same clinical approaches used in office-based care. If a different therapist would be a better match, clients have the option to switch to another provider.
Overall, online therapy can offer an effective and convenient way to address common mental health concerns while fitting care into everyday life.
