Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
My name is Cheryl Ennis. As a counsellor, I endeavour to work with clients to help them understand the mental or emotional issues they are experiencing and work proactively to find the right solutions to bring about positive change.
I am a trained and well-experienced counsellor with an encouraging record of helping clients to overcome barriers to their wellbeing. These include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, anger, low self-esteem, stress and relationship issues. I take a person-centred approach to my counselling as this allows me to build the right atmosphere to help my clients feel at ease to express themselves. I am also effective at using CBT, when necessary, to help my clients acquire tools to combat negative thoughts and their consequences.
I have experience in delivering counselling to clients from a wide age range. Therefore, I can connect well with people no matter how old or young they consider themselves. My goal as their counsellor is to help them discover the source of their concern for them to find a path forward to live a happy and fulfilled life.
I am a registered BACP counsellor. Therefore, I am bound to deliver counselling professionally and ethically.
I am proud to be a counsellor because I feel a sense of accomplishment when I help my clients to discover their true selves and potential. Each time I read my clients’ feedback or thank-you cards, it empowers me to continue broadening my knowledge and skills to provide an excellent counselling service.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For many common issues – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and adapting to life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person counselling.
A major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose how to meet with their therapist in the way that suits them best, whether that is by video call, phone conversation, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. For typical concerns such as those listed above, online therapy can be a practical and effective route to support and progress.
