Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida, with nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I spent many years working in both outpatient and inpatient settings and am currently working in Private Practice. I have worked with diverse clientele on such issues as: depression, anxiety, anger, grief/loss, life transitions, parenting, family and relationship concerns, trauma, addictions, identity and self-esteem, emotional impact of chronic illness, and issues specific to military and military families.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a Client-Centered framework. That means that this is your therapeutic process, not mine. It is my professional and ethical responsibility to meet you where you are in your process and help you get where you want to be, as you see it, by utilizing the appropriate therapeutic modalities. I wholeheartedly believe that trust and honesty are the primary foundation for a comfortable and effective therapeutic relationship. I will regularly ask that you check in with how you are feeling about the direction and effectiveness of our work together.
Seeking help in a time of crisis or transition is often the hardest part of the process. Congratulations! You have already taken that first step! I look forward to walking this journey alongside of you!

Chani Cochran is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida with 19 years of clinical experience. She has provided care in both outpatient and inpatient settings and now maintains a private practice.
Throughout her career she has worked with a diverse range of clients on concerns including depression, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting and family issues, relationship challenges, trauma, addictions, identity and self-esteem concerns, the emotional impact of chronic illness, and matters specific to military members and their families.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in a client-centered framework, meaning the process is guided by each person’s goals and pace rather than a one-size-fits-all method. She strives to meet clients where they are and to use appropriate therapeutic modalities to help them reach the outcomes they define for themselves. Trust and honesty are central to her practice, and she regularly invites feedback about the direction and effectiveness of the work to ensure the therapy remains aligned with the client’s needs. She acknowledges that reaching out for help during a crisis or transition is often challenging and recognizes taking that first step as an important milestone; she looks forward to supporting clients as they move forward on their journey.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide care through these formats, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they need a different fit. For many people, online therapy is a practical, effective option for addressing everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
