Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Cecelia A. Maurer MA, LPC
I work with adults of any age, individuals only. I do not work with couples or families, although I do work with family and relationship issues.
*** Hours: M-F 6:00am-3:00pm. ( Central time zone. )Occasionally, I offer weekend appointments, however, on weekends I’m generally engaging in self-care, most likely out on a bicycle trail somewhere. I’m an early riser, and a true morning person, so I offer appointment times as early as 6am…or possibly earlier if needed. However, in the evening my brain is mush and I am all worded out- so I’m basically useless, therefore, my latest evening appt is 4:00pm.
I am a Christian, and a professional counselor licensed in Texas with over 17 years of experience working as both a counselor and life/ academic coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, relationship issues, young adult issues, career challenges, OCD and ADHD and trauma issues.
In addition to counseling, I have also worked in higher education as an adjunct instructor and as an academic coach.
My counseling style is warm and interactive, yet straightforward. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and short-term, solution focused counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
I offer appointments M-F 6:00am -3:00pm CENTRAL TIME ZONE
Change can be difficult but if you are ready to take the first step, I will be happy to help and support you in that effort.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can lead to meaningful change. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions, research and experience indicate that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One of the main benefits of remote therapy is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that works best for them – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists who provide online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they seek a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers a convenient and effective route to addressing everyday mental health concerns and navigating personal challenges.
