Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello!
My name is Catherine Chapman. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Oklahoma. I earned my Masters of Social work from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. I have been a practicing social worker for 10 years and, additionally, am certified in EMDR therapy which I have been utilizing in my practice since 2021. I have experience working in the hospital and medical field to help patients and their families to find the support and resources they need to get through whatever difficult life situation they may be facing. I feel this experience has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges people may face throughout their lives and the various reactions they may have, whether it be anger, grief, depression, or something else, while processing their own health concerns or those of a loved one. I realize that everyone faces these struggles either in their own lives or through someone close to them and that they can be very difficult to comprehend and accept at times. My goal as a therapist is to help people overcome these situations by providing them a better understanding and tools to guide them through these hard times.
My methods focus on using the Strength Based Perspective, Person-in-Environment Perspective, EMDR, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe you are the expert in your own life and I hope to help you recognize the strengths in yourself while offering support and a non-judgmental sounding board. I will take our time together seriously and give you my full attention to best help you.
I look forward to working with you!

Catherine Chapman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Oklahoma. She earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and is certified in EMDR therapy, which she has incorporated into her practice since 2021.
She has 4 years of experience providing therapy and has worked in hospital and medical settings to help patients and their families identify supports and resources during difficult circumstances. She looks forward to working with individuals who want practical tools and a clearer understanding to guide them through challenging times.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can produce meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One key advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that suits them best, whether through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to participate from wherever the client is located.
All therapists providing these services are licensed professionals, and clients may choose a different therapist at any time if they want a better fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health needs and to build coping skills for ongoing challenges.
