Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi my name is Caroline, and as an integrative counsellor I combine two theoretical approaches to assist the counselling process;
Person-Centred – Focuses on what’s going on for you in the ‘here and now’ and looks at how you can use your inner resources to create a life that feels better.
Psychodynamic – Looks at how your past experiences may influence the way in which you think, behave, and feel. Gaining awareness of such processes may therefore help you recognise and understand certain patterns of relating and the defence mechanisms that you may use.
I have worked alongside a range clients who have dealt with issues such as; depression, loneliness, generalised anxiety disorder, low self esteem/confidence, anxiety, bereavement and loss, attachment and relationship issues, OCD and hoarding issues to name a few.
My counselling room offers a safe; confidential and judgement- free space to help you explore and make sense of your thoughts and feelings.
Finally, if you have taken the time to read this, then it means that you have already considered the possibility of change and what that change could mean for you.
Together let us explore the possibilities – Allow me to support you on your journey of discovery and onto your better future.

Caroline Nartey is an integrative counsellor who blends two complementary approaches to support people through challenging times. Her person-centred work focuses on what is happening in the here and now and encourages clients to draw on their own inner resources to create a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
Her psychodynamic approach explores how earlier experiences can shape current thinking, behaviour and feeling; building awareness of these influences can help identify repeating patterns in relationships and the defence mechanisms someone may use.
Over seven years Caroline has worked with people facing a wide range of difficulties, including depression, loneliness, generalised anxiety disorder, low self-esteem and confidence issues, bereavement and loss, attachment and relationship problems, obsessive-compulsive behaviours and hoarding, among others.
Her counselling room in the United Kingdom offers a safe, confidential and judgement-free space for exploring and making sense of thoughts and feelings. Taking the time to read this often reflects an openness to the possibility of change. She invites people to explore those possibilities together and offers support on the journey toward a better future.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main benefits is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online sessions are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different fit they are free to switch to another therapist at any time.
