Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
For over twenty years I have worked with numerous populations. I received my education in California and then interned at a homeless shelter, with a license psychologist, at a counseling center and then at a Developmental Disabilities State Hospital. I took on every case available to me in order to round out my experience. I have worked with families and individuals in the areas of domestic abuse, family issues, childhood issues, and substance abuse issues. I then spent several years working for two Developmental Centers focusing on developmental disabilities such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorders and forensic issues. I provided expert testimony for recommitment hearings and competency training. Since leaving California, I have volunteers on the Critical Incident Stress Management team for a fire department, mentored with women coming out of prison, and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. My volunteer work focused mainly on Trauma and Suicidality.

Dr. Carol Gandolfo is a licensed psychologist with twenty years of clinical experience. She received her education in California and completed a series of internships that included work at a homeless shelter, training under a licensed psychologist, placements at a counseling center, and service at a Developmental Disabilities State Hospital.
Early in her career she accepted a wide variety of cases to broaden her clinical training, working with individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, family conflict, childhood concerns, and substance use. She then spent several years at two Developmental Centers, concentrating on developmental disabilities and serious mental health conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder, as well as related forensic issues.
During that period she also provided expert testimony for recommitment hearings and conducted competency-related training. After leaving California, Dr. Gandolfo volunteered with a fire department’s Critical Incident Stress Management team, mentored women reentering the community after incarceration, and served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. Her volunteer efforts have focused primarily on trauma and suicidality. She maintains licensure to practice as a psychologist in both Arizona and California and is based in Arizona.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or adapting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person treatment.
One key benefit is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the format that fits your life, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or messaging within an app. That flexibility makes it easier to keep up with care amid busy schedules and other commitments.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health concerns while accommodating personal needs and routines.
