Betsy Corry has spent the past eight years practicing as a licensed counselor in North Carolina, supporting people who are managing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, depression, and life transitions. She holds a North Carolina license to practice as a clinical mental health counselor – license number 10974.
In sessions she listens to each person’s goals and helps them explore what they want to change. She invites clients to consider what might be different if they felt less depressed, more self-confident, or able to keep anxiety from taking over daily life, and she works collaboratively to identify practical ways forward.
Betsy approaches therapy from a strengths-based perspective, believing that each person is the expert on their own story and already has resources to draw on. She understands that beginning therapy can feel difficult and encourages those who reach out to view that first step as an act of self-care and kindness toward themselves.
