Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I am licensed in the UK and registered with the BACP and NCPS.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
An early stage in counselling is recognising that something has changed or you desire change. You don’t need to have thought about solutions or come up with answers to seek out counselling. Bring your feelings and emotions and we can start from there. I’ll be with you to explore whatever your concern or trouble is. I won’t give you advice and I’m not going to tell you what to do – we will work together to explore different perspectives and help you find a solution.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Benjamin (Ben) Stanley is a UK-licensed therapist with 4 years of clinical experience, registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the NCPS. He works with people facing stress and anxiety, grief and loss, motivation and confidence issues, and challenges around self-esteem. He also supports those adjusting to life changes and offers help with relationship, family, and career concerns, depression, and coaching.
Ben works from the belief that each person is the expert in their own story and that they already hold strengths that can help them move through difficulties. Early counselling often begins with recognising that something has shifted or that change is wanted – there is no need to arrive with solutions in place. Bringing feelings and experiences to the room provides a foundation to begin exploration.
He offers a collaborative approach rather than giving direct advice, working alongside clients to examine different perspectives and to find paths forward. He recognises that starting therapy takes courage and is supportive of people who take that first step.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and practice show that these kinds of issues are often well suited to support delivered remotely.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life best – by video call, by phone, through live chat, or via in-app messaging. That variety makes it easier to attend sessions around work, family, and other commitments.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online therapy offers a practical way to access professional support without changing the core elements that make therapy helpful.
