About

I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with 15 years’ experience working with adults and children to overcome fears and challenges that keep them from living their best lives. I have worked with people dealing with a variety of issues including, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, grief and life transitions. I have also helped people who have experienced domestic violence and emotional abuse to heal and find inner strength to move forward in their life. Much of my experience has been in university and community college counseling centers. Every person is wonderfully unique and comes with their own special qualities. In my counseling relationships, I listen to and respect my clients and am sensitive and compassionate to their unique set of needs and experiences. My counseling approach incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, positive psychology and mindfulness. I want to provide an environment of support for you and work with you to gain insight and determine a plan of action that fits your needs.
I am always inspired by people who have the courage and strength to seek something better for their lives. Change can be challenging but is always worth the work. I would be honored to walk with you on your journey.

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with their therapist in the format that feels most comfortable to them: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule. Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change providers if they want a different fit. For those seeking help with everyday mental health concerns, online therapy can be a practical and effective way to access professional support.
