Hello, My name is Auslyn Thomas, LPC-MHSP. I am a licensed professional counselor in Tennessee. I have over 17 years of experience in the mental health field including over 10 years as a therapist. I have worked in community, residential, and juvenile justice settings. I am passionate about working with those struggling with mood and anxiety issues, anyone trying to move toward a healthier life. My experience includes but not limited to: trauma, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, social skills, self-esteem, behavioral/conduct issues , abuse, and crisis intervention. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I am down to earth and non-judgmental. I am eclectic in my styles and I focus on what will work with you the best. I have experience in Person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Rational Emotive Behavioral, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
