Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! I am Aryeh (pronounced AR-yay.) I am a therapist licensed in New York and Texas. I help people understand and cope with a variety of mild, moderate or severe life circumstances and/or emotional, behavioral or cognitive concerns. I specialize in trauma/PTSD and have extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I have also trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), narrative therapy and EFT (Emotionally-Focused Therapy). Additionally, I treat anxiety, stress, grief, low self esteem, personality disorders and building effective boundaries with family/relationships.
People have the drive to be emotionally healthy with themselves and their loved ones. Therapy can often help achieve these goals. My counseling style is warm and interactive, I believe it is important to treat anyone with respect and dignity, to empower them and instill confidence in a compassionate manner. No two problems are ever exactly the same, so I make it my personal objective to listen very carefully to each person and in a very open and non-judgmental way. I always do my best to understand what each situation feels like when looking out through their eyes. I believe in being client-centered and supporting client’s where they are at (with a pinch of humor thrown in). It is important for me to include the client in the treatment planning process and help monitoring success.
It takes courage and bravery to take that first step towards change, if you are ready to take that first step I am happy to help guide, support and encourage along the way. I look forward to working with you and helping you create a life full of happiness.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can produce meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, research and clinical experience indicate that remote therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect in the way that suits them best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to schedule sessions and maintain consistency with therapy amid busy lives.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if someone decides a different therapist would be a better fit, they can typically switch to another clinician. For many people, remote therapy offers an accessible, practical option to address everyday mental health and life challenges while fitting treatment into their routines.
