Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello
I thank you for the opportunity to work with you. I have experience in providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and groups. More specifically, I am certified in providing evidence-based psychotherapy for trauma, PTSD, depression and insomnia. I predominantly utilize a Cognitive Behavioral approach, but I also draw from my training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, delineating the familial origins of issues; Health Psychology, clarifying the connection between the physical body and emotions; Solution Focused Psychotherapy, identifying existing strengths and coping skills; and Gestalt/Existential psychotherapy, making meaning out of loss/suffering.

She is a licensed psychologist in South Carolina, credentialed under SC Psychologist 1344, and offers care that blends structured and insight-oriented methods. Her primary orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which she pairs with elements of psychodynamic psychotherapy to explore familial origins of difficulties, health psychology to clarify connections between the body and emotions, solution-focused techniques to build on existing strengths and coping skills, and Gestalt/existential approaches to help make meaning from loss and suffering.
Dr. Bennett addresses a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, sleeping disorders, anger management, depression, addictions, LGBT issues, relationship and family conflicts, grief, eating disorders, self-esteem challenges, bipolar disorder, and coping with life changes. She aims to maintain a professional yet approachable style that supports practical recovery and personal insight.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, research supports that remote therapy can be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect with a therapist in the format that best fits their needs and schedule, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain regular sessions and integrate therapeutic work into a busy life.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients have the option to change therapists if they are seeking a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, practical way to address everyday mental health concerns without sacrificing the quality of care.
