When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be ~ Lao Tzo
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I am very glad you are here. I recognize that taking the first step toward getting help can be very difficult at times. I will do my best to ensure that you have a comfortable and meaningful experience in our sessions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) in the state of New York. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College School of Social Work in NYC and have over 29 years of behavioral health experience. I have worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as addiction, depression/stress, anxiety, anger, family problems, guilt/shame, trauma/abuse, separation/divorce, relationships/parenting and more.
My therapy approach is solution focused, client centered, collaborative and strength-based. The goal of therapy is not to tell you what to do, but to work with you to help you achieve your goals; goals that we will set up together. I can direct, assist, advise, inform, or educate based on your needs. You are the expert in yourself.
I know how hard it can be to find a therapist who you feel a connection with and I would be honored to work with you through this stage of your life.
Should you feel in need of urgent help or that you are in crisis at any time during our work together; please call 1-800-273-TALK 24 hours a day; or 911. This forum does not provide any type of emergency services, so I want to be sure you know who to contact if you need immediate help.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A key benefit is flexibility. People can choose the format that fits their needs and schedule, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability often makes it easier to maintain consistent care.
Each therapist available through these services is a licensed professional, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they seek a different fit. Overall, online therapy can provide an accessible and practical option for many seeking support with everyday mental health and life concerns.
