Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in Utah and have been helping individuals achieve their treatment goals for 11 years. My approach is warm and compassionate, while also being direct and to the point. My favorite modalities are Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR (trauma therapy) and other modalities. I like to tailor the treatment to the individual and will draw from whatever modality I feel is needed for a particular client. I have worked in different settings, which has given me a wide range of experience with issues such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, stress-related issues, mood disorders, trauma, family conflict, and general guidance and decision-making. One of my strengths is being able to really put myself in someone else’s shoes and get a really good sense of how they feel. This helps people feel that I really do understand their struggles and helps them feel supported and that they are not alone. This, combined with my experience and knowledge, has proven to be an asset to individuals that work with me. I do not like to mix religion with research-based treatment and would not be a good match if you are looking for a religion-focused therapist. I consider myself to be open-minded and not judgmental. I am more than willing to answer questions and understand that not every therapist is a good match for all individuals. You will never feel pressure from me if you need to try someone else after interacting with me. I look forward to meeting you and working with you!

Alessandra Baird is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Utah with 14 years of experience helping individuals work toward their treatment goals. She combines a warm, compassionate manner with clear, direct guidance to support practical progress.
Her practice draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy, and she is trained in EMDR for trauma work. Alessandra tailors each treatment plan to the individual and selects techniques from different modalities based on the needs of the client.
Having worked in a variety of clinical settings, she has developed experience with depression, anxiety, loneliness, stress-related concerns, mood disorders, trauma, family conflict, and general guidance and decision-making. One of her strengths is the ability to empathize deeply with others, which helps clients feel understood and supported through difficult times.
Alessandra does not combine religious approaches with research-based treatment, so she is not a fit for those seeking religion-focused therapy. She describes herself as open-minded and nonjudgmental, welcomes questions, and will not pressure anyone to continue if they prefer to try a different therapist. She looks forward to meeting and working with prospective clients.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the primary advantages is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that feels most comfortable – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. This approach aims to make therapy more accessible while still offering evidence-based care for everyday mental health concerns.
