Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Alabama, and I also have a doctorate degree in counselor education. I teach master’s students how to become counselors. I have had the opportunity of gaining experience in counseling people with diverse needs including substance abuse and addiction, depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, and coping with life changes. I have also helped clients who have experienced trauma and abuse, family conflicts, and anger management issues.
I offer individual and couples counseling. I provide a comprehensive approach to treatment that focuses on the entire human being and their life experiences to improve overall mental well-being. I use a person-centered approach to counseling with an emphasis on the needs or desires of the client. I incorporate techniques in the counseling process that include cognitive-behavioral, and psychoeducational approaches. It is my responsibility to provide my clients with a safe environment that helps to promote growth where the client feels secure and free to express him/herself in a real, true, and open way. The overall goal of mental health therapy is to help clients better understand and manage how to overcome life’s challenges.

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One significant advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, which can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they would like a different fit.
