Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Trauma/PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) psychotherapist licensed in Georgia with approximately 20+ years of experience both as a Traumatologist in working with clients and as a researcher. As a survivor of Trauma/PTSD for over 40+ years I have been fortunate in watching and participating in the treatment of survivors from before PTSD & CPTSD TRAUMA was officially recognized as a separate and distinctive disorder by the Psychological Community in 1980.
My therapeutic style is first and foremost empathic, open, honest and interactive. Much too often individuals suffering from the exposure to Trauma live in a world of silence never feeling that they can truly tell their story without being judged negatively.
This approach combines being present for my clients along with an existentialist philosophy of self-empowerment. This approach combines the search for Meaning in one’s own life by the of an Eclectic approach. As with all mental health issues is the realization that just like with Trauma/PTSD, CPTSD it is but a mere part of our existence but we cannot let it define who we are as individuals.
There are numerous layers of psychological discord from exposure to Trauma than can’t be seen on the surface ranging from depression and anxiety to sleep disorders and that which lies in between. Together we will tailor a protocol specific to each person’s needs not wants!
One of the most difficult steps in the healing process is acknowledging the negative influence these Traumatic event[s] have had and continue to have in influence your life in a negative direction. The exciting and powerful step in regaining control over your own existence you have already taken by reaching out for help. If you are looking for a therapist who will be painfully honest than contact me. If you are an individual or couple who wants a therapist who cares totally about you growth and you living your best life contact me. If you are simply wanting a therapist to give you what you WANT instead of what you NEED contact someone else! Life is hard, choices are often hard, but if you stick with our journey together then you might just find the joy and peacefulness you desire but has eluded you!
I look forward to working with you on your journey.

Charles Zaglin is a Georgia-based psychotherapist with 23 years of clinical experience who focuses on treating trauma and its related effects. He works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, grief, depression, coping with life changes, and compassion fatigue. His background includes roles as a Traumatologist and as a researcher, bringing both clinical and investigative perspectives to his practice.
As a survivor of Trauma and PTSD for more than 40 years, he has observed and participated in the treatment of survivors dating back to the period before PTSD and complex PTSD were formally recognized as distinct disorders in 1980. That experience informs his understanding of how trauma can shape a life across decades.
His therapeutic style is empathic, open, honest, and interactive. He emphasizes being present with clients while encouraging self-empowerment through an existentialist approach to meaning and growth. He employs an eclectic set of methods, tailoring interventions to fit each person rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions.
Charles recognizes the many layers of psychological distress that often accompany traumatic exposure, from depression and anxiety to sleep disruption and other issues that may not be obvious at first glance. He and the client work together to design a treatment plan that addresses individual needs rather than simply accommodating preferences.
Admitting the negative impact of traumatic events can be one of the toughest steps in recovery, and reaching out for help is already a meaningful move toward regaining control. Charles offers direct, honest guidance for individuals and couples who want committed therapeutic support. He holds professional licensure to practice counseling in Georgia; his credential indicates that he is authorized to provide therapy in the state.
He looks forward to working collaboratively with clients on their healing journeys and supporting them in pursuing greater peace and wellbeing.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice have shown that remote therapy often produces comparable outcomes for these types of issues.
One major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of connection that fits their life and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to attend appointments around work, family, and other commitments.
Another practical advantage is continuity of care. Licensed professionals provide therapy remotely, and if a client feels a different therapist would be a better fit, they can switch to another clinician. This combination of effectiveness and convenience makes online therapy a strong option for many people seeking treatment for everyday mental health concerns.
