Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello. I am Tarsha Banks-Williams. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida and I hold a National Certification in Counseling. I have over 16 years of experience in providing counseling. I have served clients from the ages of 5 to 80 years old. I have conducted individual, group and family counseling in the past. I have conducted various assessments such as crisis assessments, suicidal assessments, substance abuse assessments, mini mental status exams, and so forth. I have worked with individuals with and without disabilities (e.g., physical and/or mental), individuals in and outside of correctional settings, and individuals, including parents of school aged children. Areas of concern that I have assisted clients with range from mental health concerns (e.g., Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, coping with a loved one with Dementia, ADHD, ODD, Conduct Disorder, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideations, etc.), self-esteem issues, relational issues, career-related issues, grief & loss, life goals, and so forth. I am confident that I can assist you with the challenging issues or concerns that you are currently facing. The therapeutic modalities I tend to use a great deal are Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Together we will outline the best approach for you, as each person is unique in their own way.
I am 100% dedicated and motivated in my career field and believe that my passion is to help others to succeed in life. I am here for you when you are ready to get started on this journey. At times this journey may seem hard, overwhelming and you may feel like giving up but just remember that anything worth having is worth fighting for. I am here to support you throughout this counseling process.
So, let’s get started today…
Sincerely,
Tarsha Banks-Williams, MS, LMHC, NCC
