Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome to BetterHelp! I am an independent clinical social worker licensed in Massachusetts, with more than 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. While my specialty is in adoption, foster care and early trauma, I am able to work with a broad range of concerns.
My style is strengths-based, warm and interactive. I am flexible in my approach, and able to tailor it to your specific needs. I draw on my training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Family Systems, Attachment-based therapy, ARC (Attachment, Regulation, Competency), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Solutions Oriented Brief therapy, and base my approach in compassionate listening. I believe in treating people with respect and dignity, and in protecting their privacy. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgemental and comfortable environment in which to explore new understanding, hope and direction.
It takes courage to reach out for help, and I’m glad you’re here. I believe things can change and get better, and I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether virtual therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or adapting to life changes, online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – you can connect in the format that works best for you, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Licensed professionals provide online services, and if you decide you would like a different fit you are able to switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers an accessible way to engage with a therapist while maintaining many of the benefits of face-to-face care.
