Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Nicki, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for clients located in Florida. I have eight years of experience providing therapy in residential addiction treatment, prison, and individuals online. I have worked with patients and clients with widely varying presenting problems including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, codependency, family/relationship issues, guilt, shame, and trauma, to name a few in addition to addiction. I have helped people learn healthy coping skills to reduce maladaptive strategies such as substance use, self harm, negative thought, and other self-defeating behaviors, and begin to build satisfying lives for themselves.
I grew up in Michigan, and explored unrelated career paths while moving through my life and relocating eventually to Florida. Life experience inspired me to my destination as a therapist, and in mid-life I earned my BA in Psychology and MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling online. I am now living in Michigan and am grateful for the portability of telemental health!
I have found that people need a safe person to share their innermost experiences with and to be met with unconditional positive regard to break the barriers that stand in the way of progress toward improved mental well-being. I approach therapy with a client-centered orientation with the ability to adjust with appropriate modalities to clients’ needs as they are presented, with the goal of increasing clients’ understanding and acceptance of and compassion toward themselves. I enjoy learning about others’ experiences and interacting in a fun yet soothing way. Exploration of experiences without negative judgment can lead to amazing and meaningful change!
While therapy is a very satisfying occupation, I also enjoy making a multitude of things, reading, movies, organizing, and spending time being silly with family.

Nickole Wyse is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida, holding a Florida LMHC credential (license MH18325) and bringing eight years of clinical experience to her work. She has provided therapy in residential addiction treatment settings, within correctional facilities, and with individuals through online sessions.
Her work spans a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, codependency, family and relationship difficulties, guilt and shame, trauma, and substance use. She helps people develop healthier coping skills to replace maladaptive strategies such as substance use, self-harm, persistent negative thinking, and other self-defeating behaviors, supporting them as they begin to build more satisfying lives.
Nickole grew up in Michigan and followed several different career paths before relocating to Florida. Life experience prompted a return to education in mid-life, when she completed a BA in Psychology and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through online study. She describes a client-centered approach to therapy, adapting techniques to meet each person’s needs with the aim of increasing self-understanding, self-acceptance, and compassion.
She approaches sessions in a warm, approachable manner that balances curiosity with calm, believing that nonjudgmental exploration of experience can open the door to meaningful change. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys crafting a variety of things, reading, watching movies, organizing, and spending playful time with family. She also notes the portability of telemental health as a benefit since she is currently living in Michigan and is grateful that online work supports that flexibility.
Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or navigating life transitions, online therapy is often as effective as traditional in-person sessions for addressing those issues.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the way that works best for them – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals, and if a different therapeutic fit is needed, clients can switch therapists at any time. The format can make consistent care more accessible while allowing each person to find the communication style that supports their progress.
