Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri with 4.5 years of experience in providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling. I have worked with individuals ages five to adult with a variety of mental health/behavioral presenting issues such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, community violence, relationship and family issues, and many more. As a standard practice, I approach the therapeutic relationship with an acute sensitivity and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors and influence.
My experience is varied and across a wide array of settings, as I have provided individual, group and family therapy in a community mental health agency as an imbedded therapist inside of a school. I believe our belief systems strongly influence our thoughts, feelings, and actions toward many activating events in our lives and help shape us into the people we are today and the decisions we make daily. I strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you, with compassion, respect, and openminded.
My therapy style and approach is influenced by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy primarily and Person Centered Therapy. Setting and realizing your goals is a team-effort, and together we will work at your comfort level to effectively establish and achieve goals that make sense for your life. Whether you’re on a path of self-discovery, or ultimately looking to alleviate symptoms for a better quality of life, together we can work to achieve your goals!
Mental health is a journey, and while you may feel lost now, that is not an indication of how your life will continue. It takes a lot of strength and will power to work towards a more fulfilling and happier life, if you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

He brings an acute sensitivity to multi- and cross-cultural factors and honors how cultural context shapes thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. His clinical background spans individual, group, and family therapy in a community mental health agency and work as an embedded therapist inside a school.
Michael’s therapeutic approach is shaped primarily by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy alongside Person-Centered principles. He frames goal setting as a collaborative effort, working at each person’s comfort level to establish and pursue realistic objectives that fit their life.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit of online work is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that fits their needs, whether that is a video session, a phone call, a live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy schedule and to choose the communication style that feels most comfortable.
All therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to request a different therapist if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, remote therapy provides a practical, accessible way to engage in meaningful therapeutic work without sacrificing quality of care.
