About

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Idaho with over 8 years of experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition, I have experience working in HIV prevention/education, medical facilities and psychiatric hospitals, and I am a social work educator. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression and other challenges related to mood, anxiety, relationship issues, medical/health concerns (including HIV disease), and grief and loss. I have also helped many people who have experienced abuse.

My counseling style is focused on the relationship, and I believe that being present and open is of utmost importance. I am warm and interactive and will support your self-determination with dignity and respect. My approach combines narrative therapy, strengths perspective, cognitive-behavioral theory, and solution-focused interventions. Our interaction and treatment plan will be collaborative and designed to meet your needs.

It takes so much courage and strength to seek help and work toward change. If you are ready to take that next step, I am ready to help!

I look forward to working with you!

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or adjusting to life changes – online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. Research and clinical experience indicate strong outcomes for these typical mental health challenges.

One major benefit is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that works best for them – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which can make it easier to fit care into a busy schedule.

Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and if a different fit is desired, clients are able to switch therapists. This adaptability, combined with evidence-based approaches used by therapists, makes online therapy a practical option for many seeking support.
