I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in Nebraska, and have been in practice for over 9 years. Prior to being a therapist I worked in the mental health field as staff in a residential Treatment center for females where I found my love of therapy. I have worked with a variety of individuals dealing with many different issues for example: anxiety, depression, relationships, self esteem, work related problems, trauma and abuse issues as well as ADHD and intellectual and physical disabilities to name a few.
I don’t usually work with married couples in couples therapy although I do work individually with people on couples issues.
I have recently been exposed to the world traumatic brain injuries (TBI) with a close family member and the ways that this impacts an individual, their mental health as well as learning to live with a Traumatic Brain Injury.
I feel that I am a warm and inviting individual that is easy to talk to with a positive personality willing to help individuals look at their issues in different ways as well as be an encourager. My treatment approach’s I utilize in therapy are cognitive behavioral, as well as solution focused therapy and client focused therapy. I encourage my clients to be active participants in the treatment planning process and encourage you to be actively involved with the process. When you see positive results and complete goals on your treatment plan there is a sense of great satisfaction.
If you are ready to reach out and are looking for someone who is easy to talk to and willing to help you work toward your goals I am here ready to help. I am looking foreword to meeting you and working with you.

Ashley Davis is a Nebraska-based licensed independent mental health practitioner and professional counselor with nine years of clinical experience. She has operated her own private practice for more than six years after earlier work in another private practice, and her path into therapy began as staff at a residential treatment center for females where she discovered a passion for this work.
Ashley has worked with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, work-related stress, trauma and abuse, ADHD, intellectual and physical disabilities, addictions, grief, parenting issues, anger management, career difficulties, compassion fatigue, and coping with life changes. While she does not typically provide couples therapy for married partners, she sees individuals to address issues that affect their relationships.
She has recently gained direct exposure to the impact of traumatic brain injury through a close family member, and understands how a TBI can affect mental health and daily functioning. Clients describe her as warm, inviting, and easy to talk to, and she brings a positive, encouraging presence to sessions.
Her clinical approach combines cognitive behavioral methods with solution-focused strategies and a client-centered orientation. Ashley encourages clients to be active participants in treatment planning, emphasizing collaborative goal-setting and celebrating progress when treatment goals are completed. She is available to help those who are ready to reach out and looks forward to meeting and working with new clients.
