Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Melody Anderson, CMHC. As a therapist, my hope is to provide a safe space for you to explore the issues and concerns in your life that are inhibiting your growth, healing, and ability to move forward. I have an irreverent approach to life and am awkward and a bit silly in my attitude and goals. No one person is the same and I seek to help you rediscover you.
I have been fortunate and lucky to have worked with different people, races, culturals, sexualities, identities, spectrums, ages, and goals. Further, I’ve worked with substance use, domestic violence victims and perpetrators, people going through grief and loss, depression, anxiety, sexual identity crisis, and personality disorders. I specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy with an emphasis on Person-Centered Therapy (finding out what you value and finding ways to incorporate those beliefs into your everyday life.)
I am married and have five adult children and a tween (5 girls and a boy.) I have a basset hound: Ginger Longbottom Spice. My hobbies include camping, fishing, boating, reading, crafts and being a grandparent. The quote I live by is, “Those who can, should.”

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the format that fits your routine and comfort level, whether that is a video session, a phone call, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to keep regular appointments and integrate therapeutic work into a busy life.
All therapists offering these services are licensed professionals, and if you ever feel the need for a different therapeutic match you can change therapists at any time. For many people, online therapy provides an effective, convenient way to get consistent support for everyday mental health concerns.
