Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome!
I’m so glad you’ve taken this step toward prioritizing your mental health. My name is Erin, and I’m a licensed mental health professional with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families in a variety of clinical and community settings. I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Before we get started, I’d like to provide some important information about the counseling process and what you can expect in our work together. This includes details about confidentiality, communication, and the nature of therapy through the BetterHelp platform.
About Me
I take an integrative, holistic approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that healing occurs through the connection of mind, body, and spirit. My practice is informed by decolonized and trauma-informed frameworks, and I strive to create equitable, affirming spaces where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, life transitions, racial and cultural identity, family issues, and more.
How Sessions Work
We can connect through messaging, live video, or phone sessions—whichever format feels most supportive for you. I typically respond to messages within 1 business day, Tuesday through Friday. Live sessions can be scheduled based on my availability, which I will share with you directly.
Confidentiality & Emergencies
Everything we discuss is kept confidential, with a few exceptions that are required by law—such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of abuse or neglect. Please note that BetterHelp is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 911 or reach out to a local crisis service such as the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988, or text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line.
Getting Started
Our first few messages or sessions will be focused on getting to know you, understanding your goals, and establishing a plan for how we can work together. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your voice is central to it. If at any time you have questions or feedback, please feel free to share—I welcome open communication.
I’m looking forward to learning more about you and supporting you in this process of healing, growth, and self-discovery.
Warmly,
Erin Arney, LMHC, LPCC

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One key benefit is flexibility. Individuals can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their life and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to maintain continuity of care.
Each therapist is a licensed professional, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online therapy can offer accessible, consistent support for many everyday mental health needs while providing options that accommodate busy schedules and changing circumstances.
