Gail Wylde

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

My name is Gail Wylde. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with young to older adults. I have experience working with and helping people recover from depression, panic, social anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I have worked as a social worker and as a therapist in many different settings including county adult services, crisis stabilization, and private practice therapy.

My counseling style is empathetic and collaborative. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I am a good listener and find that when people feel free to talk about what is bothering them, we can collaboratively come to solutions.

It takes courage to seek counseling and if you are ready, I am here to help.

I look forward to working with you!

Is Online Therapy the Right Choice for Your Mental Health Journey?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can genuinely help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions for most people.

One major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with their therapist in the format that works best for them, whether by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to stay connected during transitions.

Therapists who offer online care are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, practical way to address everyday mental health concerns and move forward with support.
