Jessica Dye

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

MY FOCUS
I have found great success working with individuals who identify as women between ages 20-65 who self identify as multi-hat wearers. You may be a sister, friend, coworker, partner, possibly a parent or caregiver to others. These roles have left you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious, depressed and feeling as though there is nothing left to give yourselves. You may also find yourself struggling with self esteem and body image, relationships, processing impacts of childhood, as well as practicing self care. Through therapy, you will learn how to

manage anxiety and depressive symptoms

exploring and processing traumatic experiences

challenge guilt and shame related to taking care of yourself

learning how to set healthy boundaries

understand and honor relationship with your body and mind

create positive, healthy routines

learn how to be selfless by being healthy selfish

MY 1ST SESSION WITH YOU
In our first session, we will get to know each other and determine if it is a good fit. It is so important to remember that you won’t like every human you meet on the street, and it’s the same for therapists. Ensuring that you feel as though this is a comfortable fit is your number one goal. During our first session, we will complete an intake, begin to determine your goals, and make sure you leave with one new thing to practice or apply to life.

MY APPROACH
My therapeutic approach is eclectic, as I allow the client and their needs to inform the modalities I use, however, the most common approaches used in my experience are the following: CBT and Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Client-Centered, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT as well as Family Systems. Let’s dive into this colorful world together. I’m here to guide you every step of the way and create a collaborative journey towards your goals. Let’s create a unique narrative that speaks volumes about who you are. Your voice matters, and I’m here to listen and make what could be a very scary, daunting experience safe and fun!

MY COMMUNICATION STYLE
When working with me, you will find yourself in a safe, trusting, non-judgmental, kind, and compassionate space. I understand the uneasiness of sharing the most private parts of your life with, at first, a complete stranger, and so I encourage each client to build that trust and allow themselves to share in their own time. I love to share the education behind modalities and skills with clients and find ways to make success sustainable and fun. You will leave sessions feeling heard, respected, and some lightness in you heart.

MY GOALS FOR YOU
No one is you, and that is your power! I truly believe this and will collaborate to identify goals that fit your needs. My greatest goal is to support you, meet you where you are, and provide you with the tools to eventually support yourself.

About

Jessica Dye is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA LMFT 123136) with 8 years of clinical experience working in California. She specializes in supporting individuals who identify as women between the ages of 20 and 65 who balance multiple roles – such as sister, friend, coworker, partner, parent, or caregiver – and who often feel overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious, depressed, or depleted.

Her work addresses struggles with self-esteem and body image, relationship concerns, the lingering impacts of childhood experiences, and challenges with maintaining self-care. In therapy with Jessica, clients learn practical strategies to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, explore and process traumatic experiences, and confront guilt and shame that arise when prioritizing personal needs.

Jessica helps clients develop healthy boundaries, deepen their relationship with their body and mind, and establish positive, sustainable routines. She also supports the shift from overgiving to what she describes as being “healthy selfish” – caring for others while maintaining personal well-being.

In the first session Jessica focuses on connection and fit. She completes an intake, begins clarifying goals, and ensures each person leaves with at least one new skill or practice to try between sessions. Her therapeutic approach is eclectic and informed by client needs, commonly integrating CBT and Solution-Focused techniques, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Client-Centered therapy, DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Family Systems theory.

Clients can expect a kind, compassionate, non-judgmental, and trusting space where trust is allowed to develop at a comfortable pace. Jessica emphasizes education about therapeutic methods and practical skills, aiming to make progress sustainable and approachable. She collaborates with each person to identify meaningful goals, meet them where they are, and provide tools that support long-term self-reliance and growth.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and practice indicate that many people experience meaningful benefits when working with a therapist remotely for these issues.

One of the main advantages of online therapy is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that best fits their schedule and comfort level through video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This makes it easier to access consistent care without rearranging daily responsibilities.

All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may request a different therapist if they feel a different fit would better support their goals. For many people seeking help with everyday emotional challenges and life changes, online therapy offers a practical, accessible option that can integrate smoothly into busy lives.
