Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
An important benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That range of options makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to engage in the format that feels most comfortable.
Each therapist offering online services is a licensed professional, and you have the option to switch therapists if you decide a different fit would be better. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, adaptable route to getting support for everyday mental health concerns.
