About

I’m a warm, compassionate BACP registered counsellor in the UK with over 12 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges across healthcare, education, and community settings. Working primarily from a person-centred approach, I integrate CBT techniques, solution-focused practice, creative therapies, and trauma-informed care to meet each client’s unique needs. Currently supporting students within a college environment, I have particular experience with young people (14+), neurodivergent individuals, and those who have experienced trauma. I hold a BA Honours degree in Counselling, Coaching & Mentoring and also a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with over 400 hours of supervised practice. My background is in mental health nursing, family support work/Safeguarding, and crisis intervention. I have a special interest in neurodiversity and am passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals in ways that honour their strengths, needs, and lived experiences. Above all, I’m dedicated to creating safe, non-judgmental spaces where you can feel truly heard and understood, helping you build resilience and confidence as we work together at your own pace toward positive change.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether online therapy can really help. For a range of common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions – online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the way they connect that feels most comfortable, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into everyday life and commitments. All therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists at any time if they would prefer a different therapeutic fit.
