My dedication to the field of mental health comes from a past experience, where my community was grappling from the effects of a F-5 tornado. I witnessed children, adults, and adolescents unable to identify or talk about their trauma. I wasn’t qualified to help and I wanted to. Therefore, I went back to school and obtained my degree in counseling and was soon after licensed.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain continuity of care.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be beneficial. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health needs while keeping treatment convenient.
