Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome, I’m Jonda Light, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. I have been providing support for the past 5 years to clients who are navigating substance addictions, trauma and abuse, stress and anxiety, depression and life changes as well as mental health concerns. If you are looking for relief from daily stressors, support during a life transition, traumatic experience, substance addiction or even in need of intensive therapy for more difficult emotional and mental health issues, I will work with you in an individualized process to create change and growth in your life. I help individuals of all ages using therapeutic techniques that are tailored to meet each person’s specific and unique needs.
My experience is varied across settings as I have provided individual and group therapy in community mental health and substance abuse, school settings and virtually. I strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you, with empathy, compassion, respect and warmth.
My therapy style integrates techniques of traditional psychotherapy with practices like meditation, body awareness, mindfulness, and breath-work. My top priority is to meet you were you are and calibrate treatment and my approach to what will work best for us as we work together to meet your goals, unlock your inner strength, improve function and find peace and happiness. My hope is that we can collaboratively work together to achieve it.
It takes a lot of will power and courage to work towards a more fulfilling and happier life. If you’re ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I am proud of you for getting started!

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A key benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, using video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit therapeutic support into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide care remotely, and if a different therapeutic fit is desired, clients are able to switch therapists at any time.
