Hi, I’m Amy – Welcome! I am an Accredited Social Worker, Counsellor and Somatic Therapist with over 8 years experience working as a Trauma-Informed Counsellor, Family Practitioner and Somatic Therapist.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, alcohol and drug use, stress, intimacy related issues, parenting problems, career challenges, abuse and trauma and self esteem.
In addition, I am trained in Breathwork, Meditation, Somatic Inquiry & Nervous System Support to also support you in creating a life where you feel regulated, secure, present, happier, calm and connected to your body and those around you.
My therapy style is warm, engaging, compassionate, respectful, sensitive and empowering! I strongly believe in creating a safe space for you to feel seen and heard so you can feel empowered in creating the change you seek. My approach uses attachment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, nervous system support and trauma informed techniques to support your unique needs.
