Hello there! My name is Dr. Klaris Leung (She/her/hers). I am a Licensed / Registered Clinical Psychologist in the UK (HCPC), New York (US) and Hong Kong with over 10 years of experience. As an Asian psychologist, I offer psychotherapy in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. I work with adults, children and families who encountered various challenges such as major life changes and stresses, depression and anxiety, trauma, bereavement, and relational conflicts. It is such a privilege to walk with each one of them as starting this healing and self-discovery journey is never easy. I am trained with a range of evidence-based therapy approaches that include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). As everyone is unique, we will come together to decide the best approach that fits your change and growth.
Apart from my professional knowledge and skills, my priority is to create a non-judgemental and compassionate environment that respects your pace. I will help you to build more understanding of yourself, your thoughts and emotions, and most importantly, to work together towards meaningful goals and develop new skills so you can move forward.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, research and clinical experience indicate that online therapy can be comparable in effectiveness to in-person treatment.
One major advantage is convenience – sessions can fit more easily around everyday commitments. Clients may connect with therapists in the format that suits them best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging, making it simpler to maintain consistency in care.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and if a different therapeutic fit is needed, clients can switch providers at any time. This flexibility and accessibility make online therapy a practical option for many people seeking support.
