Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello there, I’m Demi!
I’m a registered Counsellor with the BACP with a First Degree in Counselling.
My aim is to make your therapy journey as comfortable as possible by providing a warm, empathetic and personable approach to therapy.
I have worked with clients from different walks of life as well as working for a local charity providing solution focused therapy. The majority of my experience is working with people in their 20s and 30s, helping them building their self-esteem and growing a deeper understanding of themselves.
In my approach I believe in giving my clients choice which is why I work and trained as an Integrative therapist. This means I pull from different modalities which are CBT, Psychodynamic and Humanistic. With this combination I can be flexible to your needs as we are constantly evolving and changing as people. This also means I can provide structured sessions with an agenda or the sessions can be open with no fixed agenda with the ability to explore where the here and now takes you. With this I work in an approachable manner and I also believe a sense of humour can help.
I believe in continually evolving my practise and developing therefore I enjoy regularly training with additional CPD sessions to enhance my practise.
Feel free to drop me a message about your needs, goals and expectations from therapy.
With warmth,
Demi
