I am a qualified pluralistic counsellor, accredited with NCPS. My approach centres on creating a supportive environment, fostering empathy, and prioritising active listening. Together, we can collaboratively work towards instigating meaningful changes in your life.
My expertise encompasses addressing various client needs, including issues related to anxiety, stress, and the sense of being overwhelmed. I also work with clients who are struggling with their confidence and self esteem, which can make decision making and involving yourself in everyday events a challenge. I also work with individuals who are navigating life changes, whether they involve shifts in employment, personal transitions, or relocation of your life. Change can be challenging and at times isolating.
I work with young adults who face academics challenges and pressures alongside academic staff who feel overwhelmed with their current role and their work/life balance. I have worked in wellbeing in a school environmnent for several years helping young people and staff navigate stress. Prior to working in education I worked for several years in a corporate environment and am fully aware of the pace of change and challenge that can bring.
As part of therapeutic sessions, I can also offer techniques for deep relaxation and mindfulness, catering to your individual preferences and needs.
I believe that counselling is built upon a foundation of trust, openness, and your sense of security in expressing and exploring your needs. Developing this therapeutic relationship takes time, and I am committed to providing the space and time necessary for it to evolve.

She supports people experiencing anxiety, stress and feelings of being overwhelmed, and she helps those whose confidence and self-esteem affect decision-making and everyday participation.

She has experience working with young adults facing academic pressures and with academic staff who feel overwhelmed in their roles or struggle with work-life balance, drawing on several years working in school wellbeing.
