Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi,
My name is Sophie and I am a qualified Person centred counsellor/ psychotherapist.
I have worked in the field for 4 years now with young people (16 yrs) to older adults. I also have experience with neurodiverse clients, in particular Autism and ADD/ADHD.
My main area of work so far has been in bereavement (and ongoing). This has given me a good experience of working with loss, stress, identity, anxiety, depression, trauma and how neurodiversity can effect each of these.
I am also a wellbeing therapist, so can include techniques such as mindfulness in our sessions if you feel this would benefit you.
Thank you for taking a look at my listing. I appreciate that this can be a strange start of a journey into the unknown. Please feel free to give me a message to discuss how I may be able to support you on your journey.

Sophie Skipp is a qualified Person centred counsellor and psychotherapist based in the United Kingdom. She has 4 years of experience working with people from age 16 through to older adulthood, bringing a person-centred approach to each therapeutic relationship.
Her practice includes work with neurodiverse clients, particularly those with Autism and ADD/ADHD. Bereavement has been the main focus of her work to date and she continues to specialise in supporting people through loss and ongoing grief.
This background has given Sophie practical experience in addressing loss, stress, shifts in identity, anxiety, depression and trauma, and in understanding how neurodiversity can affect each of these areas. As a wellbeing therapist she can incorporate techniques such as mindfulness into sessions when clients feel this would be beneficial.
She is a female, non-religious therapist who appreciates that beginning therapy can feel like stepping into the unknown. Sophie welcomes messages from people who would like to discuss how she may be able to support them on their journey.
