Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page.
I am a very experienced BACP registered UK Counsellor, and also have over 35 years experience of working in diverse areas of Social Care including Mental health, Learning disabilities/neurodiversity, criminal justice, and young people. I have experience in helping clients with complex mental health issues, as well as stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, depression and many other issues that naturally arise in the course of life as we meet its many challenges.
As well as working mainstream as a counsellor, I also enjoy teaching counselling, as well as continuing to teach meditation and buddhism/mindfulness in the prison nearby. I am engaged in my own practice of personal development and mediation which I have pursued since I was a teenager. I think that we all have the ability to learn about ourselves, to grow and to change in the face of all the great difficulties that life throws at us to live an enjoyable and meaningful life.
