Jessica Henderson is a counsellor and a registered mental health nurse based in the United Kingdom with three years of practical experience. She supports people dealing with stress and anxiety, grief and loss, low motivation, self-esteem and confidence concerns, and depression, and she currently works with trauma and domestic violence.
Jessica treats each person with respect, sensitivity and compassion, and she adapts her conversations and treatment approach to meet specific individual needs. Although she will be working with clients in a counselling role, her background as a registered mental health nurse adds clinical insight to her practice.
She is qualified in person-centred counselling and has training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. Jessica recognises that reaching out for help requires courage and she aims to support clients as they take steps toward a more fulfilling and happier life.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions – online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. It can be a practical option for people seeking support for these issues.
One major advantage of online therapy is flexibility. Individuals can choose the mode of communication that fits their needs and schedule best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it simpler to include therapy in a busy life.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and clients are able to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. This combination of demonstrated effectiveness and adaptable delivery makes online therapy a viable option for many seeking support.
