Dianna Hansen

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

My name is Dianna and I am a Southern California native. I have been an MFT since 2012 and was fully licensed in 2018. My experience has ranged from holistic substance abuse treatment to military and veterans to dissociative identity disorder. My approach is holistic using my years of experience as a body worker, yoga enthusiast, and love of music to integrate an embodied approach to recovery from trauma. Therapy should be considered a benefit to healthy people who experience trauma in dealing with the realities of life. As a trauma-informed therapist I believe we all suffer trauma through ordinary life and it helps to process our experiences with a trusted guide to make meaning and move on from things which change us. My approach integrates DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), and Yoga. Thanks for considering me as your therapist.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can make a real difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.

One major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that suits you best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.

Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and if you decide you need a different fit you may switch to another therapist at any time.
