Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome, my name is Blandine Cummins and I am a Qualified Level 4 CPCAB counsellor based in Jersey. I offer online sessions in English or French as well as face to face counselling support.
I am credentialed in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
As far back as I can remember, I’ve been very curious about how other people see the world. As a young person, I started by immersing myself in music and writing songs to better understand the thoughts, emotions and reactions of others. Later on I studied psychology and counselling which helped me understand myself better.
I have always been fascinated by the possibility that the awareness of the differences between people may be a way to unite us, instead of pulling us apart. I realised that my journey towards self-awareness and acceptance of my own differences could have benefits for, as well as satisfying my curiosity about, other people.
Being a therapist is a way for me to fulfil my own need to experience safe and authentic relationships with others, whilst at the same time supporting them in their search for happiness.
As a counsellor my role is to provide space and guidance to help you on your journey of self-discovery; to enable you to examine your life and make new, meaningful choices within it.
In my Counselling practice and on the better help platform, I can help you in the following areas:
Loss and bereavement
Issues linked to relationships or divorce
Self-esteem and confidence
Sadness
Depression
Loneliness
Anxiety
Mental health
Stress
Work or study
These are just some of the things I can work through with you, but I can support you with whatever you are finding difficult.
Counselling isn’t about giving you solutions or advice, but empowering you to make your own choices.
“Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths.” (Scott Peck)
Making that decision to start counselling is often a daunting one. The fact you are here means that you are at least ready to consider whether it is the right path for you.
Ultimately, it can provide the opportunity to enrich your relationships; both with those you care about and, most importantly, with yourself.
I am a person centred therapist, which means I have an empathetic, non-judgemental approach and provide emotional support. I offer a chance to reflect on the difficulties or problems you are experiencing in a safe and confidential environment, with someone from outside your day-to-day life.
Both short term and open-ended therapy is available depending on your needs. I like to be as flexible as possible to allow you to find your own personal requirement.
Together we can explore your situation in a way that leads to fresh perspectives and perhaps a new understanding of yourself.
Counselling offers a confidential and safe space, where you can openly explore your feelings without the risk of being judged.
It offers the opportunity for you to look at what is really going on in your life and to help make sense of any confusion or turmoil you may be experiencing. It provides a space where unhelpful behaviour patterns can be safely challenged and potentially changed to gain a deeper sense of freedom and control over your life.
Thanks for reading. I hope this is helpful and I look forward to meeting you whenever you are ready.
Warm wishes,
Blandine

Blandine Cummins is a Qualified Level 4 CPCAB counsellor based in Jersey and credentialed in the UK. She offers online sessions in English and French as well as face-to-face counselling, bringing four years of professional experience to her practice.
Curious about how people see the world from an early age, Blandine explored emotions and perspective through music and songwriting before studying psychology and counselling. That background informs her therapeutic work and her belief that understanding individual differences can help connect rather than divide people.
Working in a person-centred way, Blandine provides an empathetic, non-judgemental environment where clients can reflect on their experiences and find new ways forward. Her role is to offer space and guidance for self-discovery, enabling people to examine their lives and make meaningful choices rather than prescribing ready-made solutions.

Both short-term and open-ended therapy are available, and she aims to be flexible so each person can find the arrangement that suits them best.
Blandine sees being a therapist as a way to build safe, authentic connections while helping others pursue a more fulfilling life. She welcomes enquiries and looks forward to meeting people when they are ready to begin.
