Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Autumn Schowalter. I live in Wichita, Kansas and grew up about 30 minutes away from here on a farm. I have 2 kids; one is in college and the other is in middle school. They are my pride and joy along with my 2 dogs and cat that run our house. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and I’ve been a licensed provider in Kansas for over 25 years. My professional work experience in the mental health field has included doing therapy, psychological evaluations, assisting my peers with consultation, and providing supervision to mental health workers and their respective supervisors so they can effectively work with their clientele. My experience includes helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, career difficulties, and depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Many people ask whether remote therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is convenience – people can meet with a therapist in the format that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain regular care.
Each therapist you work with is a licensed professional, and you have the option to switch therapists at any time if you need a different fit. For many, online therapy offers an accessible and practical route to consistent support.
